Reading Resources

www.rlac.com  - The Reading and Language Arts Center provides instruction in Phonics First to assist students who are having reading difficulties.  The website containes materials for teachers and parents.

www.rlac.com/sounds - The pronunciation of letter sounds vital to phonemic awareness.  This website provides the pronunciation of sounds and key words to associate with the sounds.  There is also an exercise to assess the understanding of the letter sounds.

www.readinga-z.com - Reading A-Z is a website that has guided reading books at various levels. It also has resources for phonics, fluency, poetry, vocabulary, etc.

 http://reading.ecb.org/ - Into the Book is a reading comprehension resource for K-4 students and teachers.  It provides material that relates to Bloom's Taxonomy and reading comprehension strategies.
